SOURCE: Netscape Career and News Three Steps to Your Real-Life 'Dream Job' Kate Lorenz, CareerBuilder.com Editor What do you think of when you envision a dream job? I do wish to ask something... this is a question i have heard 1000 times if not more: If God exists, why then is there Evil in the world? For me, a very simple answer would be freedom of choice. Without freedom of choice, you can not have love nor faith. We would all be drones following orders or, for that matter, just robots without mind or thought. It really can't be both ways, as far as I can tell. You can't have love but the inability to express discord. If I said I love you but...

In my other forum post about the old testament I asked what does these statement mean when pulled from the Bible: Leviticus 25:44 states that I may possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations I have a neighbour who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death... Now in a thread made by another user it asked do we obey the 10 commandments (of which is also in the old testiment) Here is...

1. Leviticus 25:44 states that I may possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians? 2. I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her? 3. I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual un...

SOURCE: WIRED.com The All-in-One, Widescreen Security Cam By - Noah Shachtman Even the best security guards can watch only eight monitors at once - and after about 20 minutes, everything starts to blur. So Atlanta startup VistaScape is replacing the old black-and-white screens with color PCs that afford watchdogs a comprehensive 3-D view, from bird's-eye to ground. Now focus, people. SOURCE: WIRED.com A Cut Above By Steven Johnson Let's say you're a big-league pitcher, blessed with a good but not great arm. You've played several seasons in the majors, yet you've never managed to hold down a steady place in a starting rotation, mainly because you can't get quite enough velocity on the ball. You work with different pitching coaches and sports psychologists. You try new exercise and diet regimens. Ultimately, you decide that your innate talents aren't going to t...

Some things happen for a reason... maybe not... Its been about 5 weeks since I have been on what I would call forced public assistance (since I am not allowed to collect unemployment) Next week will begin the 6th week. I am supposed to get my security certificate renewed (as if I really want to go back to being a security guard after what happened to me) but what can I do? So much for having a degree LOL Now, for some reason, my food allocation (lets call it food stamps for short) hasn't...

It looks like Apple is starting a revolution in self service. With the idea of iPodding (doesn't really relate to iPod) of which is to subscribe to an RSS feed that links to audio files, now takes talk radio to a new level. Listen to it when you want, where you want; much like TiVo except it is portable. Now, P2P is (so far legally) creating a way to share your music to the world by broadcasting it. Take a ook at these sites and see what they are talking about: mercora live365.com...

So instead of getting death, they will now rot in prision for the rest of their adult lives. I think that is better, not to mention cruel or unusual. I wonder if they go to the adult prisions at 16 or not? Maybe rehab so when they get out at 80 they can re-attach themselves to civilization. I say cover response because sometimes the cover 'letter' sent to the employeer isn't actually a cover letter in the traditional sense. Wehn you sending by email, more likely than not, it will be in text format only. So the top formal parts about your name and such and the name of the person your sending your resume to isn't needed. So sending that cover responce that is just "I am a proven great whatever..." More examples on the way. SOURCE: YAHOO! Hotobs.com How to Find a...
