I came across a site a few days ago, but I think I seen it before. Now after seeing this site, I thought to myself this is exactly what I want. Not only people archiving text snippet from things on the net in their blogs, but now you can save links, share them, and not only search through them, but see what is popular. Currenlty working on a update to joeKnowledge and the Knowledge Net idea. The back ground behind all of this is that, more than a year ago, I realized that I need to have a place where I can locate data, accumulated information and links to stories that are related to what I am doing or what I am researching. While I was blogging, I realized that the blog itself could be a repository for data. If I organized it properly, I can have my homework, papers, related stories, RSS feeds, and more...
