Currenlty working on a update to joeKnowledge and the Knowledge Net idea. The back ground behind all of this is that, more than a year ago, I realized that I need to have a place where I can locate data, accumulated information and links to stories that are related to what I am doing or what I am researching.
While I was blogging, I realized that the blog itself could be a repository for data. If I organized it properly, I can have my homework, papers, related stories, RSS feeds, and more all from one source and have it anywhere there is an internet connection.
So anyway, back to the update. Right now knowledge net is open and I have a few people willing to be test users for my idea (thank you test users!!!). While I wanted Knowledge net to be career oriented, I realized that it can waver from that from time to time AND I realized that it should.
So that left me thinking that I still needed a group blog that was more specifically on job help, searching and workplace knowledge.
So I am about to do 2 things. Create a group blog specifically for job search here on Joe User and 2:
Well, 2 is already done - make a blog on Modblog about Job Search.
Why 2 places? Well, because Modblog community could use a blog such as that I think. So I made it. They both will serve to do the same thing. One is specifically for Modbloggers and the other one is open to the public.
Anyway, I am not sure of the name for the more specific job search blog here on JU. When I set it up, I'll post it here.
