People saving web links and achiving them as a community helps to find knowledge, create knowledge, and get at answers that would otherwise not appear

I came across a site a few days ago, but I think I seen it before.

Now after seeing this site, I thought to myself this is exactly what I want. Not only people archiving text snippet from things on the net in their blogs, but now you can save links, share them, and not only search through them, but see what is popular.

Save This is more advanced than Delicious, but Save This costs more. It would cost me 300 dollars a month to keep Save This running for members of Knowledge Net and joeKnowledge. That actually isn't allot, but since it is way beyond affordability for me now, it is not an option for a project that really won't get off its back until somewhere in 2006 or 07 after other projects of mine come to pass.

This sort of creates a dilemma... I want to start developing a user base of people who realize that having a personal knowledge base will help them stay employed or get employed but I can't afford a 300 monthly price tag.

Luckily, I found that GoDaddy has this service that allows people to save links... but I don't know code well enough to make it do what I want: Show most emailed, most selected, and have RSS feeds for those categories as well as all links added and selecting users own link archives additions RSS feeds.

At least the technology is there. Between DesktopX, Blog Navigator, WordPress and GoDaddy, and some form of links archiving program, I think creating this network of professionals, novices, the educated, businessperson and the employed/unemployed will have a big impact on how social networking can work for businesses, education and personal endeavors. (This whole idea was born from me being unemployed and not having enough experience to be hired and from taking on-line classes that needed more interaction and classroom networking.)

In other news...

Plans are being made to use Save This for the return of the WinCustomize User page Focus, Joe User/Knowledge Net Newsletter, and esourcemagazine (of which will be the first non profit music/artist group in American History)
